Today, after much stressing and trials on two previous kits, I was able to complete this 1/144 F-16C (Trumpeter), in the proper colors and armed with the right missiles. I thought I was doing pretty good for the day so I decided to move on from this project into a new kit (the old Revell Eurofighter JF-90)
Which promptly ended with me cracking the stock canopy. I had to heat-form a new one out of clear plastic sheet but the results are a bit off in terms of measurement. I'll have to see about fitting the new canopy to the fuselage but I'm not averse to buying a replacement kit just for the canopy.
ah well, what a night.
