Let's talk about vehicles since I bought a few recently,

First up is this Honda Hornet bike. It's scaled at 1:18 and made by a company named Welly. Other than that I know nothing about it, what I do know is that there are a lot of welly motorcycles at the mall, I actually bought another one but probably won't open it until I have the rider I want on it in-hand.

Welly has a lot of brands in their line, aside from Honda there's Suzuki, BMW, Kawasaki, Aprilla (another one I want) and many others all of which feature very clean decos, diecast parts, and amazingly clean finishes

Little details on the bike are wonderfully chromed and painted, giving this vehicle a lot of eye-candy

Aside from the stellar pearlescent paintjob what also catches my eye are the simple "honda" tampographs and the odometer. Really adds a lot of realism to this tiny model.

The goldish yellow color is really beautiful and complements the black and silver detailing.

The quality and simple colors really appeals to me and I forsee myself buying more of these Welly motorcycles. If only they came in more colors that complemented my Micromen though.

I'd really love to own a Kawasaki Ninja that was colored purple for my microforce ninja microman. 

...Of course the bike wasn't the only one I bought. 

BEEP BEEEEEP

This is a 1/20 scaled pull-back Diecast golf cart from some no-name company, and obviously I bought it for hilarity.

It hardly fits the already small Micromen, but it's a snug fit for microsisters

But everytime I look at one of the micromen riding on it, I enjoy it all the better.

Due to the really small space alloted for the driver, nothing short of multiple points of articulation will get any 1:18 figure in there, which is what makes it perfect for Microman figures, since they're probably the only ones with enough articulation to contort inside.

2012 hobby room

I've had this diorama since I think around 2 years, and recently it got a makeover, mostly with the fixtures as it now has a mini-kitchen and more utensils but I've also taken out some things like the extra seats and tables, and some extras like the famicom (lol not to scale) and the arcade duck ride.

I think I like the current setup now than what I started with, though I think I'll replace some stuff as I come across more tiny props. right now it has that look I like, where it's a room where you can basically chill and do some stuff. 

Ore...Sanjou! Motion Revive Den-O Review

Honesty time. Den-O never appealed to me as a show but hot damn, his toys are really something. One that I have yet to get myself is his awesome looking SIC Kiwami Tamashii figure, and another would be his motion revive figures. 

Before I had some of his other forms (wing and gun forms) as well as zeronos altair but they never really stuck with me. When I bought my "Best Selection" set in HK and it included this guy, I was much more interested in his partner Momotaros than him and decided, "hell why not, maybe one of my firends might appreciate him better". But once I opened him though I found him very enjoyable. 

godammit. 

Den-O comes with two pairs of hands and a thumb-out hand as well as his dengasher. The numerous hands make for a very expressive figure, though the inclusion of fists would have been nice.  

He has a great range of motion! everywhere except for any lateral motion on his shoulders, something hindered by his shoulder armor. The KT got around this by having the pads on hinges, with the MRS, you don't get that kind of mileage. It limits how much he can swing his sword but for everything else, he's aces!

Man, I REALLY love the kind of silver they use for these figures. It's near chrome. The glossy red is a tad loud though. And like most of the line, no paint flaws.
 

His details are very well sculpted though the head looks very awkward, especially the eyes. Some customizers fixed this by replacing it with an HDM or similar statue head but I'm too lazy and I don't care enough about him to do that ( I may consider it for kuuga though lol).

Ah, Dengasher. Lovely weapon, and like all MRS weapons expect to not have a really solid grip on it. 

It stays on with the aid of both hands though but as mentioned before, you can't actually swing it around in a natural looking way. 

Den-O is slightly bigger than kabuto but not by much, since It's still a little shorter than some modern Joes. 

Good Paint, nice articulation, good amount of accessories, Den-O here is a very cool toy. 

It was pretty unexpected how much I'd like this guy and now I kinda regret giving him away. But at least I know the guy I'm giving it to won't sell it. Good figure, and deserving of the inclusion in this "Best Selection" wave of MRS. 

feeling lucky?

so i went for a little visit to Japanimation, my local anime/ japanese surplus thrift store, scouting for stuff my friends would like when we make our rounds tomorrow. i tried my luck in 3 different bins full of random gashapon and trading figure stuff and pulled out these beauties at 50 pesos (roughly 1$) each.

sweeeet.

well from the pic above they look great but how do i display them along with my figures without having to have my figs cross-sit on the floor?

i found these things, which seem to be diskman cleaners for 100 pesos (2$), and after considering it for a while i bought these as well.

you can already see where this is going.

and here is what they look like as small tables to put the slot machine on, and it even came with a cleaning cloth i can use as a sort of carpet. overall, pretty awesome and i can practically make a mini casino with these

things. now to find tiny arcade machines.
