seriously i only had four full hours of it worrying all over for these guys, but they made it through. i'm counting three and right now it looks like momma Razorclaw's resting. named the little dudes already. funny the day we got news of the thundercats franchise getting a new lease on life is the day my own cat started giving birth. could have named them after characters on the show but i already kept the decepticon-named theme for their mom so yeah. :\

some minor repainting on this guy and i now have my new favorite megatron figure. size class aside this guy is just so appealing to me.

i fucking hate Orange Plastic on a non-orange centric toy. 

just a nugget

when it comes to all my personal projects, i find that thinking of all the work being done as fun actually makes me work better.


 And in doing things for the first time it becomes not like dragging your bike frustratingly slow up a steep hill, more like riding your bike down the hill at top speed, the wind in your face, and the awareness that while you freely roll and there is a chance you might injure yourself, there's still part of you that's conscious of all that's going on and can take control at the right moment, making sure you cross that finish line in one piece and feel pleased with your effort. 


i know most of the time you can't get it right at the first try, but that's what the practice is for, so that when you start something new again you do it with all those years of experience at your disposal, everything just falls into place, like it was second nature (and by then it will be), and yet whatever you do or make, it will still feel new to you, and it will be fun for you to accomplish.




with that said, i'm looking forward to whatever cool stuff i post this year, and whoever's out there reading this, i hope you enjoy our ride down the side of the hill...with no brakes.

and now for something different. i got some cintraboard (originally used for noodle adverts) stuff from Raj and thought about what i'd do with em. then i thought of making a mech table accessory for the heck of it, so my prime can lie down on it and die.

main thing to do now is to make a hinge and base mount for the table then add detailing.

Panahon Para sa Kaisipan

Sa totoo lang nahihirapan ako na ihayag kung ano talaga ang aking mga nararamdaman (lalo na kung kailangan sa pagsusulat), at pansin ko din tuwing nakikipag-kwentuhan ako sa aking mga kaibigan, o sumasagot sa mga tanong nang guro ko napaka-konti nang mga salita na iniiwanan ang aking bibig. Sinasabi ko sa sarili ko na hindi ko alam ang dahilan kung bakit, ngunit sa loob ko, nakikita ko ang sagot. Nakikita, hindi nasasabi. May mga bagay kung saan lahat tayo ay nakatingin ngunit ang nakikita natin ay hindi magkapareho, at kung hindi rin tayo mahusay sa pag gamit nang wika (atin man o mula sa iba) nahihirapan rin tayo ihayag sa mga iba ang ating nakikita. Bukas ang mata ko pero sarado ang isipan. Tama si Orwell sa kanyang piyesang “Politics and the English Language” na minsan mas madali na iwanan sa kamay nang mga salitang halos wala nang koneksyon sa diwa nang gusto mong ipahayag dahil hindi mo wawasakin yung utak mo kaka-isip nang isang imahe. Pero hindi ba mas maganda na huminto at mag isip kung ano ang nais mo sabihin sa pinakamalinaw na paraan imbis na maging parang manghuhula na nambabato lamang nang mga malabong prediksyon? 

Ilang beses din na ako tumututok (sadya man o hindi) sa mga istasyon nang balita kung saan ang host ay nakikipag-usap sa isang politiko o opisyal at kung nagiging partikular na ang mga gustong malaman nang host nababaha ako ng mga salitang hindi ko maintindihan na jargon imbes na sabihin nila na “oo nagkamali kami sa (X)”. Ngayong linggo marami akong dapat isumite na papel at pagsulat, ngunit nasa ugali ko naiwasan sila hanggang sa huling sandali dahil nahihirapan ako mag isip kung paano ito maitutupad, pero ngayong umaga ko lamang hinarap ang katotohanan na hindi ko binibigyan ang sarili ko nang tamang panahon (binibigay, hindi lamang inaantay na tamaan ako) upang umupo, buksan ang MS Word, at suriin mabuti at ihanda ang aking mga imahe sa utak upang maging sulat sa papel. Mula doon, haharapin ko na ang hamon sa sarili ko tulad nang isang batang hindi marunong lumangoy na kailanan sumisid sa isang dagat upang makakuha nang perlas mula sa isang talaba. Pero mas mabilis ko matututunan magsulat kaysa mag-langoy.

resolving to re-do this in RLM Light Blue, Cold Steel and Salmon pink/ red pearl. i like how the color placement worked,i just don't like how easily the G1 colors dirty up.

so yeah a friend of mine made a blog for himself (read it, follow it if you like), and it'll be a window to his life,which mostly deals with things that also interest me like comics, toys, and life (i ease up a bit from posting the last one on this blog myself because i have a tendency to just whine, and i like to talk about myself like any self-respecting jerk would for hours upon end. no i do not deny this. and will flaunt  it in...)  but hey, yeah the purpose of  this post is because i have yet to have a great, eventful day in the year to talk about so let's talk about me getting 12 --identified--followers on this blog!
